ABOUT BADCOIN
A strange little blockchain with a real history.
Badcoin is an open-source blockchain project maintained by community contributors. It began during the Bad Crypto Podcast era, became its own blockchain, and years later is being maintained and rebuilt in public.
WHAT IT IS
Old chain. New work.
Badcoin has always been a little unusual. It started with a playful identity and a community built around experimentation, mining, and the Bad Crypto Podcast.
The project later became an independent blockchain with its own network, software, miners, balances, and history.
That history still matters. The current project is not a replacement chain pretending the old one never existed. The work today continues the existing Badcoin network while modernizing the software, public tools, infrastructure, and documentation around it.

Rebuilt in public.
Badcoin is maintained by people who decided an abandoned-looking old blockchain was worth understanding, preserving, and improving.
Development work, infrastructure repairs, release preparation, mining support, explorer work, pool work, and public documentation are being handled openly rather than hidden behind a polished corporate front.
No price talk. No moon talk. No fake corporate nonsense. Just a weird old blockchain getting rebuilt in public.
Badcoin is an open-source community project with ongoing technical work. Nothing on this site should be treated as financial advice, investment guidance, or a promise of profit.
